ExactET Releases Annual Weather Analysis for Climate Controlled Irrigation
ExactET released their annual Weather Analysis for Climate Controlled Irrigation in Canadian Urban Landscapes (click link below).
The report details the key weather statistics that impacted the frequency of outdoor watering in 2015 under Climate Controlled Irrigation in six of the major urban markets in Canada: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.
The report points to a hotter and drier summer season in Western Canada that required increased irrigation events over previous years. In Vancouver and Edmonton Rainfall levels were over 30% below normal levels. The extremely dry conditions in Vancouver prompting Stage 2 & 3 Water Restrictions in Metro Vancouver for much of the season.
The only city in the report to see above normal rainfall levels was Montreal, with Rainfall 23.2 above normal.
