ExactET released their annual Weather Analysis for Climate Controlled Irrigation in Canadian Urban Landscapes for 2019 (click link below).
The report details the key weather statistics that impacted the frequency of outdoor watering in 2019 under Climate Controlled Irrigation in six of the major urban markets in Canada: Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto, Ottawa, and Montreal.
Across Canada, 2019 saw a wetter season than in the recent past.
In Alberta, 2019 was the summer that wasn't. After two years of record setting hot, dry weather, both Calgary and Edmonton experienced above Normal precipitation, while temperatures were below Normal.
Out east a generally wetter season saw outdoor watering requirements below Normal levels.
