The 2009 results are in. They have been checked and audited. And the winners are … the clients of ExactET. “We call ourselves Canada’s leader in climate controlled irrigation,” said Graham Duffy, Exact’s Chief Executive Officer, “and the results now in hand confirm we walk the talk. “For obvious reasons – weather patterns, type of soil, condition of existing irrigation etcetera – we cannot tell people how long it is before they get their money back. But what we do know is the vast majority of our clients have a return on investment of two years or less.” Tonko Realty Advisors Ltd. converted more than 20 of their Calgary properties to climate controlled irrigation in 2009. The combined average water savings at the Tonko properties is 44 per cent. Rob Jollimore, Industrial Operations Manager for Tonko in Calgary, said, “We are very glad we moved to climate controlled irrigation. It performs exactly how the guys at ExactET told us it would. This means huge savings that we are able to pass on to our tenants. But just as important, it keeps the landscapes healthy and looking good.” Here’s a selection of other results obtained ExactET clients: Commercial Properties
Church Properties
Condominium Properties
Red Armstrong, a member of the board at The Terraces, said, “Installing climate controlled irrigation at The Terraces was not only the smart thing to do, but also the right thing to do. The system paid for itself in the first year and the landscape looks great.” A little known added bonus is that for every one million litres of potable water NOT used, 1,000 kilowatts of energy is NOT expended and 270 kilograms of carbon monoxide is NOT emitted in to the atmosphere.
